On each package of Busch burrs is mentioned the speed at which it is recommended to work with.

For safety reasons, it is advisable not to exceed the maximum authorized speed.

Be careful! You should always adjust your speed based on your experience and the medical circumstances of the patient.

What are the features of a diamond burr

• They have an abrasive effect and different hardness grains
• They can be used on the nail and the skin
• Their coating is in finely ground diamond
• Diamond burrs are available in different shapes: This will depend on the application (example: in ball it's for the corns)
• Diamond burrs are available in different grains: This will depend on the surface to be treated.

• The pears: for larger surfaces
• The balls: for the finishing of a corn or beginning corn treatment. For the treatment of grooves

Some safety and hygiene tips for Busch burrs

• Make sure that the burr is properly inserted into the handpiece of the mill
• Do not exceed the maximum speed indicated on the packaging
• Properly respect the steps of hygiene : Pre-disinfection; disinfection; sterilization
• Never brush the burr with a copper brush but with a synthetic brush.
• During disinfection in an ultrasound device, ensure not to freely place the burrs in the ultrasound device. Place the burrs in a burr holder ( Steri-Safe for example)
• Whatever the product used for the disinfection of burrs, always properly respect the dosage and soaking time indicated on the product.
